Grow magic mushrooms with bags

Magic mushrooms substrate bags

Substrate bags are the way to go if you want to grow magic mushrooms the easy way but also want to experience the whole cultivation process, you'll also get to see the colonistaion process (this part is already done in myceliumboxes or growboxes). Another big advantage of substrate bags is that you can have your pick from any of the available strains that you can find, there are many special strains that are only available in the form of syringes or sporeprints. These can simply be injected in the substrate bag and will colonise the substrate in a matter of weeks. After colonisation just open the bag, put a little vermiculite on top, close the bag and wait. Within one or two weeks your magic mushrooms wil grow.

What are Magic Mushrooms?

Psilocybin mushrooms are fungi that contain psychoactive indole alkaloids.
There are multiple colloquial terms for psilocybin mushrooms, the most common being shrooms and magic mushrooms.
Biological genera containing psilocybin mushrooms include Agrocybe, Conocybe, Copelandia, Galerina, Gerronema, Gymnopilus, Hypholoma, Inocybe, Mycena, Panaeolus, Pluteus, and Psilocybe.
There are approximately 190 species of psilocybin mushrooms and most of them fall in the genus Psilocybe.
Psilocybin mushrooms have likely been used since prehistoric times and may have been depicted in rock art. Many cultures have used these mushrooms in religious rites.
In modern Western society they are used recreationally for their psychedelic effects.
Recent studies done at Imperial College London and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine conclude that when used properly, psilocybin acts as an anti-depressant as suggested by fMRI brain scans.
